We understand that obesity is an increasing problem and here at home, our consumers are looking for ways to maintain a balanced lifestyle while still enjoying the treats they love.
We are committed to moderation and believe that diet and exercise is something we all need to take seriously. It is even more important that we respect the needs of our younger consumers and therefore we do not market to children under 13 nor do we vend our products in elementary schools.
The Term Junk Food
We recognize that the term 'junk food' is used but we don't see our products that way. We are 100% committed to providing consumers with safe, quality products that are marketed truthfully and labelled correctly. Treats can be a part of a balanced diet and offer a small bit of pleasure and enjoyment in our lives when consumed in moderation.
Keeping our colleagues active
We encourage our colleagues to also maintain an active lifestyle. We provide learning sessions on health and wellness, subsidies toward gym/exercise memberships, coordinate outdoor colleague events and encourage healthy living.
